Register the digital exam and book services
If you want to take a digital (written) examination at a distance or in presence, you have to register it with the form "Registration" on the following subpage so that we can keep an overview of the number of (concurrent) examinations in the examination system (Prüfungsmoodle). You can also book support and / or PC pools in the examination centre there.
Please note that support for your exam can only be guaranteed if you register your exam at least 14 days before the exam date. If you wish to book a PC pool, please make this booking at least four weeks before the examination date.
In principle, you should create your examination course at the beginning of the examination semester, as you have to inform the students about the examination format and any associated consequences (e.g. right to choose) at this time anyway.
As soon as you know the (first) exam dates, you should register your digital exam(s). By doing so, you not only support our planning of the examination periods, but also provide yourself with the certainty that you will be able to receive the support you have ordered and, above all, the PC pool that may have been reserved. We allocate PC workstations in the order of requests (up to four weeks before the examination date) and reserve the above-mentioned fourteen-day lead time for support.
Support offer
Support can be booked for examinations at a distance and in person and includes the following:
- Technical support for the implementation of your examination tasks
- Checking the functionality of the settings in the examination course, e.g. whether the conditions for the automatic release of the examination task are set correctly
- If necessary, setting up the Safe Exam Browser for digital face-to-face exams
- Telephone support for examiners during the examination in case of technical emergencies
- Support with questions about exam evaluation and data export
PC pools: Examination centre and decentralised solutions
The same guidelines apply in all PC pools. However, the technical equipment may differ. Therefore, the respective operators provide times during which students can carry out a technical process test. The dates for the examination centre (Erwin-Schrödinger-Zentrum, ESZ) can be found on the right sidebar.
Three combined PC pools with 60, 20 and 20 computers each are available in the ESZ. In the case of particularly small (< 20 participants) and very large (< 200 participants) cohorts, we can try to find special solutions together if there are no longer enough free slots on the examination date. Please use the free text field "Remarks / special requests" in the registration form for this purpose.
For organisational reasons, the examination centre can only offer examinations in the slots 9-11, 11-13, 13-15 and 15-17. In the case of overlong digital face-to-face examinations (more than 90 min) and larger examination cohorts (< 100 participants), please book more slots accordingly.
