Are there any regulations on withdrawing from an examination due to technical problems?
Yes. If permanent technical problems (malfunctions) lead to the non-attendance of the examination and these can be made credible, the non-attendance is assessed as a permitted withdrawal. This means that registration, admission and the examination attempt are deemed not to have taken place (§ 107c).

Does it make sense to appoint a technical officer for the duration of the exam?
Yes, this person should definitely be scheduled for simple technical questions, e.g. about setting the video conferencing software or corrections in the exam course, as Moodle support is not responsible for the proper conduct of the exam.
